Rachel Pulido, the daughter of Maria Villarreal and Richard Pulido, said her future includes attending Texas A&M University - Kingsville with the goal of a Master's degree in music with certification to teach post-secondary music classes.

As a student at Alice High School, she has served as the vice president of FCCLA, president of SkillsUSA, and vice president of the choir as well as being a member of the mariachi band, National Honor Society and the Junior Class.
She numbers among her accomplishments being a State soloist for three years in a row, receiving a State rating for her SkillsUSA projects two years in a row, being a District choir member for four years and being in the Top 20 all four years.

What was the best advice you ever received? Who gave you the advice?
"There is more than one way to reach your goals." My choir director Mr. Dixon told me this.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
Beginning my Master's in music.

If you could change anything about this world, what would it be and why?
I would change how stereotyping is used in the world. Stereotyping separates people and sets limits on the goals they could achieve.

If you could invite three people to dinner (other than relatives), who would they be and why?
Ross Lynch, Laura Marano and Chris Hemsworth. Ross Lynch and Laura Marano are actors that I absolutely adore and we would talk about music. Chris Hemsworth is my favorite Avenger. Chris and I would talk about "Thor."

Food: Blue Bell ice cream
Book: "Mortal lnstrument" series
Movie: "Frozen"
Town in Texas: Houston
Vacation Spot: Seguin
