What is the best advice you ever received? Who gave you the advice? "I know that you are tired, but you have two options right now. You can either get up and keep busting your tail, or you can quit and feel sorry for yourself the rest of your life. It's your choice." - Coach Roland
If you could change anything about the world, what would it be and why? The importance of education. Too many people take for granted the privilege of having a free education. Too many people see it as a burden and are uninterested in bettering their education. Ignorance is not bliss, it is what is harming our society. Everyone wants to be great but not very many people are willing to put in the work necessary to become great. There must be a greater importance placed on education in order for our society to thrive in today's world.
Where do you see yourself in five years? A graduate from the University of Texas at Austin enrolled in the UT Health Science Center pursuing a doctor's degree in physical therapy.
If you could invite three people (other than relatives) to dinner, who would they be and why? Steve Cook, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Jordan Sonnenblick. The aesthetics of Steve Cook are incredible. He is an individual who exemplifies the characteristics of greatness. Not only is he an icon in the weight room, but as a person he is a great man. He's down to earth, spiritual and a role model to everyone in the fitness industry. Neil deGrasse Tyson is an amazing astrophysicist. The man is a brainiac. The "Nerd talk" (as my mom would say) we would have would be like no other. The guy knows so much and I would love to gain some knowledge from him. Jordan Sonnenblick is my favorite author of all time. Just about every book I've read from him has made me cry because they all hit so close to home for me. I would really like to thank him for his contributions to literature more than anything.
