665, 70 intersection to become four-way stop
CORPUS CHRISTI - In an effort to increase safety, the intersection of FM 70 and FM 665 in western Nueces County will be converted to an all-way stop on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Currently, northbound and southbound traffic on FM 70 must stop at the intersection while eastbound and westbound on FM 665 traffic is not required to stop.
The Texas Department of Transportation is scheduled to convert the intersection to an all-way stop at about 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20. Portable message boards on FM 665 have alerted motorists to the upcoming conversion for several weeks.
The rural intersection is heavily traveled by drivers between Alice, Kingsville, Robstown and Corpus Christi, including students who attend Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Motorists are advised to use caution when approaching the intersection as drivers adjust to the new stop signs.

I think they are making a HUGE mistake. This may eventually work, BUT before that, there will be many injuries and deaths. Obviously, common sense didnt come into play here. Lets hope the lord forgives them.
